The sound of bells faded into the memories of the island residents as they packed their Christmas decorations away. Santa had come frequently over the last few weeks riding through the sky to drop sparkling presents and sneaking presents along the ground outside when people weren’t looking. All this to prepare the island residents for the ultimate celebration of Christmas that came swiftly. Shades of red and green with touches of silver and gold lit the land and hearts of the people. The cities were crammed with the residents as they celebrated together with melting chocolate bars, bright lights and garland over windows and doors, and a smattering of snowflakes to dust the streets. Good cheer was shared on that fine evening and the island residents went bed with full bellies and bright smiles.
And yet, when one of the city mayors awoke several mornings later, he was devastated find the well worn path to the town hall was ravaged. Decayed remnants of the city were spread across the land and decorations torn down to be replaced with cobwebs and disfigured pumpkins in place. The mailbox remained intact and a sliver of paper was slipped between its hinges. The mayor grasped an edge of the paper to draw it near:
Special Event Week Information
As the ghouls and monsters from Halloween Town have taken over Santa’s winter lands, it is up to the community to restore the island and the captured lands to their former glory. Santa’s elves have workshops that were captured and twisted by the residents of Halloween Town. Work with your clan to take back these bases so that Santa and his elves can begin preparations on next year’s Christmas.
Don’t let this be the last Christmas – it falls upon you and your allies to restore the North Pole.
RULES
- KOS/PVP is only in marked red zones/No Man’s Land
- Reclaim the light blue lands for Santa and the elves – bonuses for those who hold the most light blue lands (provided on the last day/Purge)
- Whoever has the most standard land claims will also receive a bonus on the last day/Purge

LAND CLAIMING
- Clans of 2 -7 can claim land every 24 hours (can claim standard land and light blue land – only 2 land claims in total per day [except in case of war, see below])
- The light blue lands have been conquered by the residents of Halloween Town. The elves’ workshops have become Nightmare bases. Reclaim and hold those lands until the Purge to gain additional rewards (received before the Purge begins on January 2nd at 8 pm EST).
- For the light blue lands, you must find and take out the Nightmare bases before claiming the land for your clan.
- If you claim multiple blue lands over the course of the special event, the blue lands must be adjacent. Blue lands do NOT have to be adjacent to standard land claims that your clan has outside of the light blue lands.
- Look for the Nightmare bases to take over (when claiming, make sure to show map location, your clan name on the Nightmare base, and TC perms for the Nightmare base), each light blue land claim will have a base that looks like this:
